All gifts to the hospital can be designated by the donor should they wish.  It is always appreciated, however, that the donor contact the Foundation office directly before doing so to ensure that there if a suitable fund, department that matches the request of the donor.

Some designated funds that do exist at present are:

The Palliative Care Fund – gifts that support the education and department needs of the palliative care program

The Patient Comfort Fund – gifts that support the needs of patients who find themselves in the hospital unexpectedly without personal care items etc.

The Recreation Fund – gifts that support our in house activities for the patients, both long and short term.  Some of the activities include annual bus tour to see the Christmas lights and fall colours, summer lunch out in Combermere etc.
