We are currently seeking physicians interested in full/part-time emergency work.  Choose to work 12 or 24 hour shifts in a low volume setting (average 20-25 patients in a 24 hour shift) with higher volumes during the peak summer tourist period.  Physicians are paid a competitive wage by an alternative-funding plan.

FULL-TIME EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS

MoHLTC Emergency Department Recruitment Program
In addition to the Alternate Funding Payment (AFA), Emergency Department recruits will receive up to $40,000 in the first funding year and up to $25,000 in the second funding year.

Eligibility criteria: ED recruits will agree to a two year return of service and will provide emergency services for at least 28 hours per week for a 52 week period (or 1,456 hours per year).

PART-TIME EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS

St. Francis Memorial is a participant in the Emergency Department Coverage Demonstration Project (EDCDP).
