Family Physician (2)

Practice Model:  Physicians work as part of a Family Health Organization (FHO).  The FHO ensures a predictable income, shared information on which to base patient care and controlled working hours.

Your office Location: The new St. Francis Health Centre is connected to the St. Francis Memorial Hospital and is home to five physician offices.  Also located within the health centre are a private lab, an optometrist, an ophthalmologist, Community Care Access Centre and a Haemodialysis Unit.

Expectations:  Quality of life and striking a healthy balance between work and home is important.  Enjoy flexible office hours and choose to complement your practice with ER shifts and teaching opportunities. 

Emergency Physicians

We are currently seeking physicians interested in full/part-time emergency work.  Choose to work 12 or 24 hour shifts in a low volume setting (average 20-25 patients in a 24 hour shift) with higher volumes during the peak summer tourist period.  Physicians are paid a competitive wage by an alternative-funding plan.
