The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) and St. Francis Memorial Hospital (SFMH) are fully accredited facilities; RVH is 45 minutes west of Ottawa and SFMH is in beautiful Barry’s Bay, about an hour west of Renfrew. Come join us! We are hiring a Permanent, Full Time Integrated Senior Decision Support Analyst.

Pay Grid: $39.59 - $46.40/hour

The Integrated Senior Decision Support Analyst is responsible for providing support in the use of clinical data sets and the analysis of clinical data. They will ensure routine reports and scorecards are delivered as well as working with the team on ad hoc requests and automation projects. Reporting to the Director, Health Information Systems, you will be the main contact responsible for clinical and corporate reports around quality and maintaining dashboards that use information from the electronic health record and other electronic systems.  While ensuring data integrity and adherence to privacy regulations such as PHIPA, you will extract, assess and transform data to develop visuals for interpretation by stakeholders.  You will assist in identifying opportunities to improve healthcare delivery or reduce costs through data-driven recommendations.

• Baccalaureate Degree in Health Administration, Health Informatics, Business, Statistics, or similar. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2 years’ experience with EHR workflows is a definite asset, as well as experience using the Epic Electronic Health Record system.
• Familiarity with Health Care funding models (e.g. P4R), medical coding systems (e.g. ICD-10, Discharge Abstract Database (DAD), National Ambulatory Care Reporting System (NACRS), etc.).
• Familiarity with Patient Experience Surveys
• Understanding of both clinical and administrative functions and processes within a health care setting.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Power BI. 
• Technical skills in SQL, Python, R, or SAS considered an asset.
• Familiarity with Med2020 WinRecs system and Crystal reporting
• Acumen in designing actionable dashboards and reports that are logical, identify trends, and are easy to interpret
• Experience with clinical/informatics education and the principles of adult learning
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good command of Windows, Microsoft Office (Epic, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint)
• General understanding of interfaces and the use in clinical settings
• Working knowledge and general understanding of workflow within a Healthcare setting.
