Nancy Summers

Recently retired from a 35-year career primarily in the defense Industry, Nancy has a wealth of experience in the full life cycle of major miliary and commercial contracts both domestic and international.  She has led multi-disciplinary teams of professionals in negotiating and supporting large contracts for programs with governments and private industry in Canada, the U.S., France, Peru, Korea, Panama and various other countries. 

In 15 years with General Dynamics Missions Systems Canada, Nancy developed a reputation as an expert in her field as Director of Contracts/Commercial.  In retirement from full time work, she is applying that expertise in advising and consulting on Canadian government terms and conditions in support of complex military programs.

A certified Management Accountant (CMA/CPA) since 1992, Nancy has prior work experience with MDS Nordion, Computing Devices and Mitel Corporation in various Finance and Management positions.  She is known as an effective communicator with strong business acumen and the ability to coach, mentor and influence. 

Over the years, Nancy has volunteered in her community as minor hockey treasurer, soccer coach, operations support at the National Capital Region Race weekend and the Army Run in Ottawa. 

She and her husband Tim (Lemoyre) reside in Round Lake, ON.
