Continuing Care Unit
Our 10 bed Continuing Care Unit supports the mission of the hospital in the care and treatment of the sick and injured by providing multi-disciplinary care for in-patients requiring regular medical assessment, long term nursing care and rehabilitation.
The Unit is committed to providing holistic care. The philosophy of care is to enable patients to maximize their abilities in all activities of daily living. The Interdisciplinary Team provides patient focused care, in a secure environment. Care is based on the needs and expectations identified by patients, their families and friends, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
A Recreation Program provides activities for residents which includes: BBQ's, gardening, crafts, baking and entertainment from the community etc. There are also weekly church services available for all patients.
