PACS

The purchase of Picture Archiving Communitcation System (PACS) in the 2006 fiscal year has enabled the department to have a direct link with the Radiologists in Renfrew and Ottawa. Although the Hospital absorbs the high cost of PACS, enhancement in patient care has been recognized through enhancement of our medical staff resources. Allowing us to secure more radiologists in other areas. Also allowing for immediate response for early diagnosis.

[DI Department PACS System]

Diagnostic Imaging includes X-Ray, Ultrasound, OBSP/Mammography and Bone Mineral Density.
